You can upgrade or downgrade your account at any time. Tribe fees are based on the number of members in your Tribe and any upgraded services you select.
Look for an email letting you know your Tribe has been created.
You will get an email that your Tribe has been created, followed by an invite email to join your Tribe. Click the link in the second email to register your account in the app.
Connect with your Customer Success Advocate.
Once you have registered your account, we will send another email to you to connect you with your Customer Success Advocate to help you get your Tribe going and set you up for success through our onboarding journey.

Is there a contract or commitment required?
No. We recommend going through our onboarding process, taking advantage of our community building resources and giving it at least a year to reach adoption in your company. However, you are free to cancel any time.
What if I want to build up my Tribe, but I just don't have the time?
We have a team standing by, ready and willing to help you build the digital community of your dreams. Don’t let busy-ness stand in the way of getting started. We can do as little or as much as you need to ensure that your Tribe is a success!
How is TRIBAL different from all the other communication tools out there?
Tribal is much more than a workplace communication tool. Tribal is all about connecting people, on a personal level, through storytelling. There are many solutions on the market that advertise their ability to promote and support employee engagement and organizational culture, but their foundational goals involve driving employee efficiency. Platform features are designed to help employees work smarter and get the job done more efficiently, but they don’t support creating a culture.
Tribal’s foundational goal is relationship-building through storytelling, fostering the development of an organizational culture built on shared experiences and shared values.
Why do we need TRIBAL?
An organization’s culture is a primary contributor to overall success, along with strategy and leadership. Studies show employees stay where they are if they find the work to be meaningful, and if they feel connected to their teams. As organizations change and grow, preserving this valuable culture can be challenging. Tribal gives employees across the organization a way to connect on a personal level.
Why TRIBAL instead of LinkedIN?
TRIBAL is for leaders who want to build up their Tribes and for people who want to enjoy more authentic community.
LinkedIn is for self-promotion, recruiters, job seekers and sales.
Why TRIBAL instead of Facebook?
There are plenty of reasons why having a Facebook Group just won’t suffice when it comes to obtaining your strategic objective of a strong and resilient community.
- Sheer level of noise on Facebook.
- Facebook algorithms – they do not care about you and your group. If people fall away from your group, they will no longer see the notifications from your group pop up in their feed.
How does TRIBAL work?
Members log into their tribe by entering their email, and selecting a unique password. From there they can navigate to their profile page and personalize their accounts by:
- Uploading a profile picture
- Adding additional information about themselves such as an email or phone number
- Selecting their interests to determine the kinds of stories they’ll see
- Selecting what notifications they would like to receive
The home page will always display featured stories, either from members of their own organization for premium content from TRIBAL aligned to their selected interests. This is also where employees will find relevant organizational announcements, discussion questions, games, and other items of interest.
Any member of a tribe can create and share personal stories and post announcements through TRIBAL as well.
What kind of customer support does TRIBAL provide?
Team members can access a detailed, easy to follow user guide that walks them through every TRIBAL function.
To report a bug, suggest an enhancement, or simply ask a question of our customer service and development team members, simply shake your mobile device. Select the function you need from the screen that displays, and type in your question or need.
How does TRIBAL determine what content is shown to me?
Your content goes here. Edit or remove this text inline or in the module Content settings. You can also style every aspect of this content in the module Design settings and even apply custom CSS to this text in the module Advanced settings.
